Visit Tønsberg

It's summer-time in Tønsberg. The sun is warming. People enjoy getting together at the marina, or on the beach. Stokke, has much to offer throughout the year. Fossnes center is packed with art and culture and Stella Polaris with their jugglers. At Storås the Norway cup, cross country was in 2010! Idyllic Melsomvik has its own coastal path. Brunstad Conference Center hosts ongoing exhibitions, concerts and conferences. There is also the popular Himalayan climbing park. For horse enthusiasts, we can recommend Stall Gøtesen and Stall t, both of which are serious actors in equestrian sports.

Vikingveien is a 60 km long track from Mølen to Borre. Over this distance you will discover large, significant burial mounds, remains of Norway's first town and where the most important finds from the Viking Age were made. Vestfold even has its own Viking ships, both original and replicas.

Flybåten offer tours of the Oslo Fjord. In agreement with the captain you can get off at Bolærne, a cluster of small islands in the Outer Oslofjord. The Oseberg ship is under construction at Thaulows place outside the Oseberg kulturhus. A sailing replica will contribute to strengthen Norway's position for anyone who wants to experience "the Viking life and reality". It is possible to get a guided tour on site!
